About me
I’m a 4+ yoe product designer, and I like tuxedo cats, creative writing, and recycling.
I'm a volunteer mentor in SF UX Design Luma's group, I help facilitate in-person meetups and portfolio review sessions, and I also co-run a book club.
I'm also undertaking a huge creative writing project that I plan to finish by October 2025. I love mystery, horror, and hero's journey stories.

ANONYMOUS ASKED:
Woah, is this 2013???
CRAUSSER
Definitely not, but when I thought about how to represent myself in an #about-me page, I thought why not start with my very beginnings into engaging digital products.
Just kidding, you've been sucked into a time traveling vortex. Enjoy it while it lasts!

CRAUSSER
There’s a lot in life to love. In no particular order, I’d say the most important things to me are:
sustainability
creative writing
Lot to say about this. My educational background is in sustainable design and conservation biology, so I have a lot of ~passionate~ values in the area.
I got real angsty in January 2021 and started a COVID blog project called “resolutions”. The site I built is long lost to time, but I uploaded it all to medium. The overarching topic was “sustainability in society: its many successes and problematic processes.”
I thought I might include some fun screenshots here to tease what I was like back then, please enjoy:
Here I was mad about online shopping, partially because I hated myself
I don’t even remember waht this is about
So anyway, read at your own risk. There’s a lot of passion in there.
event organizing
I wanted to work on my people management and leadership skills, so I became a host on Meetup.com early this year (2024). I created a group called “my friends in sf” that had the goal of getting introverted people (like me) out of their comfort zones, but that all changed rapidly. All kinds of people came out, I made a seriously amazing new core group of friends, and I learned a LOT throughout the process.
And of course I had to write about some of these experiences, those blogs can be accessed on Substack:
